Vice President, Engineering and Construction
Mr. Ronald Bougie was appointed Vice President, Engineering and Construction in March 2019. He cumulates nearly 30 years of experience in the construction and project development fields in the mining industry and he is known for the expertise he acquired while working on the implementation of major industrial projects.

Prior to joining Nemaska Lithium, Mr. Bougie held the positions of Vice President, Engineering and Construction for Falco Resources’ Horne 5 project, Executive Vice President, Engineering, Construction and Operations for Cement McInnis’ plant in Port-Daniel, as well as key positions in the development of the Renard mine and Canadian Malartic gold mine projects.
Isabelle Petit

Director of the Demonstration Plant
Ms. Petit is a Physical Engineer who graduated from Laval University and who has been working in the mining and metallurgical industry as well as pulp and paper industry for almost 20 years. In 2017, after more than 15 years of service at Alcoa-Deschambault where she held the positions of Production Engineer and Section Leader, she joined the Nemaska Lithium team as Assistant Production Manager for the Shawinigan Phase 1 Plant.

In March 2019, she was appointed Director of the Demonstration Plant.
Francis Letarte-Lavoie

Francis Letarte-Lavoie


Director of the Whabouchi Mine
Mr. Letarte-Lavoie is a metallurgical engineer who has over 10 years of experience in the mining and metallurgical industries. Over the course of his career, he has held the positions of plant superintendent, manager of technical department and metallurgical manager at major companies such as Semafo and Glencore, where he oversaw the processes, operations and maintenance of various plants and laboratories for major projects.

Mr. Letarte-Lavoie has participated in two plant start-ups and has studied several processes in comminution, hydrometallurgy, pyrometallurgy and electrometallurgy, both in the primary and precious metals sectors.

Professional mechanical engineer experienced in the fields of General Management, operations and maintenance management as well as project management.

He was involved in the start-up of new manufacturing production units in Canada and abroad.​

Senior Director, Supply Chain & Contract Management​
Senior legal and business professional experienced in the leadership and coaching of teams as well as the strategic management, planning and control of all activities within leading class organisations. ​

Marie-Josée has been a member of the Quebec Bar for 21 years, 15 as an integral part of the business operations.
